East Maitland local boy returns home and opens new Weight Loss and Upper GI Surgical practice.
Dr Dhan is the youngest son of a local Maitland medical family. His father Dr Thiru Thiruchelvam or Dr Chelvam to his many patients was the longest serving GP practising in the local community at the time of his retirement.
His brother is long time Newcastle ENT Surgeon Dr Thya Thiruchelvam. Dr Dhan attended Maitland High School.
